OpenAI agent

Connect an agent from your OpenAI account. Wayo calls it for you, so you don’t need to host a separate endpoint.

Before you start

Save your provider key
Add your OpenAI API key in Settings → AI providers, then return to the OpenAI agent setup.

Pick or create your agent
Choose the saved key and an agent from that account. If you don’t have one, choose Make a new agent and give it a name and instructions. Choose a sandbox only if your agent needs it.

Test, describe and connect
Run Test connection and read the answer. Add what your business offers, its service area and sharing preferences, then connect the agent.

The connection test returns a useful reply from the agent you selected.
